Problem and Solution
For mobile applications requiring an ability to work offline and synchronize the data from the mobile device to enterprise data when connected to internet, data Integrity is a major concern.  This is especially true if multiple users have access to a mobile copy of the same enterprise data.  When these users attempt to synchronize the enterprise data with their changes, there can be a data conflict.  mFinity is integrated with Oracle Database Mobile Server at both the server side and the mobile device side to provide the highest level of conflict resolution and data integrity for enterprise data requiring frequent synchronization from the mobile data.

“Safe Water Kenya uses a mobile application, developed using the mFinity Enterprise Mobility Management Platform, for offline survey of water filtration installation sites.  This invaluable survey app allows our interviewer in Kenya to complete a detailed form on his mobile tablet computer offline, also using the device to embed a survey photo, GPS coordinates, and signature directly into the form.  When a communications link is available, the host database in the U.S. is updated with the completed survey form.  With this app, we are able to complete survey forms faster and easier, with fewer errors, and make them available to management on a much more timely basis”
